LEAGUE REFEREES AND EXECUTIVE

, That amicable arrangements had now been made between the Auckland Rugby League’s Refex-ees’ Appointment Board and the Referees Association in reference to the appointment of referees, was the report made at the meeting of the Management Committee of the Auckland Rugby League last evening bv Mr. i 1 Stall worthy, representative of the committee on the Appointments’ Board. The New Zealand Rugby League’s Council advised that a clearance had been received from the New South Wales League in the case of F Ferrall, formerly of a Sydnev reserve grade team, who now wished to play for the Richmond Club, Auckland. The council also advised that the transfer of the former Auckland representative, A. Payne, from Auckland to the South Auckland League had been approv&d. Payne will play in xYga.ru awahia. The request of the Junior Management Committee to send a representative team on tour was deferred for one week. The following transfers were approved of:—J. O’Hanlon, Mount Albei-t to Ponsonby; R. B.
