Donations and extra members’ subscriptions amounting to more than t: to were promised at the meeting. Suppo-t was expresesd from all over North Taranaki of the work of the societv and - strong citizens’ committee was set up to prepare a campaign for raising the necessary funds to keep the station going for the next three veai •- at least.
