CAR OVER BANK

NARROW ESCAPE OF FOUR PASSENGERS EARLY MORNING MISHAP Passengers of a motor-car which plunged over a steep bank on the River-bead-Albany Road early this morning had a narrow escape. Four men were in the car when the accident took place. They were returning to Albany from Riverhead. One of the passengers was Mr. C. Xeads, of Northcote, who received painful bruises and facial abrasions. Two of the other three passengers were stated this morning to have been Mr. R. Norton. of Albany, and Air. Harry Murdoch, also of Albany. Air. Murdoch is stated to have suffered a painful injury to a shoulder. The injured men were attended by Dr. R. G. Dudding. of Northcote, shortly after the accident took place. The mishap was at a sharp turn in the road and the car, which was damaged fairly extensively, rolled down the bank three or four times.
