“ALL WHITE” WEDDING

BRIDE AND ATTENDANTS IN VELVET GOWNS WEBSTER—ADAMS A very pretty wedding was celebrated at the Church of St. Paul-by-the-Sea, Milford, on Saturday afternoon, when Dulcie Ivy, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Adams, of Milford, was married to George Eric, only son of Mr. and Mrs. T. G. Webster, of Wade Heads. The ceremony was performed by Canon P. W. Young. Given away by her father, the bride wore a pretty ankle-length frock of ivory chiffon velvet with ruched shoulders and a hip yoke with a spray of orange blossoms at the right side. A full train-length veil of hand-embroid-ered tulle was worn, caught to the head with a double rope of pearls and clusters of orange blossoms over each ear. She carried a sheaf of arum lilies tied with satin streamers. As bridesmaids, Miss Beryl Adams, cousin of the bride, and Aliss Winifred Boswell, of Thames, wore frocks made alike of ivory chiffon velvet, with the skirts flared to the knees and anklelengtli hems of ivory georgette. Their hats of white felt were trimmed at the back with velvet and they carried sheaves of white narcissi. Two little train-bearers attended the bride, Reta Webster and Valerie Adams, wearing frocks of ivory chiffon velvet, with short pulled sleeves ami flared skirts and a bow qX silver ribbon with long - ends. They wore juliet caps of silver tissue edged with tangerine rosebuds and they carried posies of african primroses. Mr. lan Forbes was best man and Air. Donald Henderson was groomsman. After the ceremony a reception was held at Ye Pirate Shippe, where Airs. Adams received her guests in a frock of black and floral ring velvet relieved with old gold satin. She wore a smart black close-fitting felt hat relieved with old gold. Airs. T. G. Webster chose a frock of reseda green ring velvet relieved with maize. She wore a hat to match and carried a I posy of marigolds.
