Miss Jean Begg, secretary of the Y.W.C.A., left last evening by the Limited to attend a meeting of the j Mental Defectives Board.

GAY DANCE PARTY CELEBRATION In tlie Jewish Hall, Wyndham Street* on Saturday evening Mr. and Airs. G. S. Street, of Sandringham, entertained a number of friends at an enjoyable dance party to celebrate the coming - -of-age of their son, Reginald (Jack). i Streamers of many colours decorated the hall and many novelties - added to the gaiety. Ken. Gillman’s Melody Boys played the latest dance numbers, and during the evening Miss Harding gave a humorous recitation and Air. Reg. Bushen a whistling solo. Airs. Street received her guests, wearing a frock of black satin beaute with a rose shoulder spray. Among those present were: Mrs. Grahamc, in black charmeuse and beige georgette; Airs. Adams, blue milanese; Mrs. A. Tickner, black silk lace;. Mrs. Aikers, black satin beaute; Airs. C. Newbrook, powder blue lace with silk embossed flowers; Airs. Fraser, black satin; Airs.
