SAWMILL BURNED
FIRE NEAR TAiHAPE 30 MEN THROWN OUT OF WORK From Our Own Correspondent TAIHAPE, Today. A. sawmill at Omatane, near Taihape, owned by C. O. Gibbs, of Taihape, was completely destroyed by fire last evening. Nothing was saved. The’mill was not working yesterday, and the origin of the outbreak is a mystery. About 30 men are thrown out of employment as a result of the fire.
