BOXING IN SYDNEY
SYDNEY, Sunday. At the Sydney Stadium last evening. Johnny Peters, English bantamweight boxer, won on points against Gildo. a Filippino. The large crowd disagreed with the verdict, thinking a draw should have been given. The fight was willing throughout. Gildo’s fierceness taxed the Englishman’s rimreraft to the fullest extent.
