TWO HURT BY MOTOR-CARS

YOUTH SEVERELY INJURED A youth and a boy were injured in motor-car accidents on Saturday. The boy, Frank Robertson, aged 10 years, of 523 Manukau Road, Epsom, suffered a compound fracture of the right leg when ho was knocked down by a car. ITe was taken to* the Auckland Hospital, where he is reported to be progressing favourably. Severe internal injuries were received by a youth named Clifford at about 4 o’clock on Saturday afternoon when a collision occurred between the bicycle he was riding and a motor-car at the corner of Green Street and New Street. Ponsonby. When he was thrown from his machine, a wheel of the car passed over him. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital, where he was reported this morning to be slightly i mprov e d.
