OTAHUHU FIRE BRIGADE

ANNUAL SMOKE CONCERT Representatives from neighbouring brigades were present at the annual smoke concert of the Otahuhu Fire Brigade, on Saturday evening. Mr. H. T. Clements, Mayor of Otahuhu, presided, and associated with him were Captain Watts, inspector of the United Fire Brigades’ Association; Superintendent Ander, Mr. A. W. Hall, M.P. for Hauraki; members of the Otahuhu Borough Council, and Mr. R. W. F. Woods, town clerk. Musical items were contributed by Messrs. C. Reader, D. Anderson, F. Craft, Ron. Nelson, T. Bowling. Campbell, Carter. Mr. Beck was accompanist. Mr. H. T. Clements presented the fallowing decorations to members of the brigade:—Fireman Bennett, 13 years’ service bar; Fireman Todd, five years’ service bar; Fireman Maxwell, five years’ service bar; and Fireman Vine}', years’ service bar.
