TE AROHA NOTES
The annual meeting of members of the local branch of the Auckland Acclimatisation Society was well attended. Mr. J. M. Cochrane presided. The balance sheet showed a credit of £8 15s 7d. The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted:—President, Mr. J. M. Cochrane; vice-presidents, Messrs. F. W. Wild. E. Farrow; secretary, Air. Herbert Johnson: committee, Messrs. Wood, R. Farrow, V. G. Hamilton, A. Aleharry, L. Flatt, G. Burmester and P. Harvey; delegate, Air. J. M. Cochrane. The Tatua Dairy Company, which manufactures cheese, is assured of a very large supply of milk next season.
