A message from the Secretary of th* General Post Office states that the following message has been received from a Sydney radio station: “S.S. Maranoa reports that at 4-5 p.m. on June 22 she sighted an objoc apparently the mast of a vessel, abet 12 feet out of the water, floating tip right, with stays attached- T*' position was Cape Everard lighthoii* north, 29 degrees east, true bearjjs eight miles distant. object dangerous to navigation.”
