RIFLE SHOOTING

The Paeroa Miniature Rifle Club held a handicap trophy shoot in the* local drill ha'll on Wednesday evening before a fair attendance of members. A considerable improvement was shown in tho shooting, especially by the younger members, one of whom gained second ■■ place. The trophy was won by A. E. Pearson, who registered a fine score of l>o off tiie rifle. J. Jaspers was second.
