Marie Studholme Leaves a Fortune

ADOPTED CHILDREN BENEFIT Marie Studholme, the musical comedy actress and picture postcard beauty, who died in March, has left between £40,000 and £45,000. Several bequests are made to theatrical charities and the remainder of the money is left to the two children whom she and her husband, Mr. H. G. Borrett, adopted. This fortune is one of the largest ever left by an actress who was not manageress of a theatre, or an owner, or a producer of plays. The biggest sum left by an actress in recent years was that of Charlotte Lotta, who died in 1924, at the age of 77, and left £BOO,OOO.
