OPOSSUM SKINS ARRIVE Thirty-nine opossum skins have been received' for stamping at the Government depot in Auckland. They are the first of the independent trappers’ season. which opened « n June 1 G. Xo skins have been io warded yet i<» the Auckland Acclimatisation Society, and no idea of the prices likely to be obtained can bo gained until the first sale is held in Dunedin next month. There is no “season” for farmer? and orchard ists. They' may trap ’possums all the year round.
