MUTUAL AID SOCIETY
Since the inception of the Mutual Aid Society (Smith and Caughey, Ltd.) 20 years ago, £7,216 has been provided in sick pay, according to a statement made at the annual meeting by the president, Mr. W. R. Richmond. There are at present 3G9 members of the society. This constitutes a record. The sum of £277. which has been received in subscriptions, will be subsidised £ for £ by Smith and Caughey. Ltd. Payments during the past year totalled £616. Officers were ] elected as follow: President. Mr. B. i Bullin; vice-presidents, Mr. A. Tucker, Miss Crosley; secretary. Mr. C. R. ! Baker; treasurer, Mr. B. Bissett. j since before 1914.
