A big rally of Auckland Endeavourers will be held at the Beresford Street Congregational Church on Tuesday evening to say farewell to the Rev. Lionel B. Fletcher. Revival fire services will be held in the Covenant Hall. Wellesley Street, tomorrow, when Mr. A. H. Dallimorc will speak on “God's Word Versus Church Traditions.” At the Christian Spiritualists’ , Church, Mackelvie Street, an address will be given in the evening by Mr. Vining on “The Simple Way.” The Rev. W. Walker will preach at both services in the Pitt Street Methodist Church tomorrow, the subjects being “The Unseen Defences of God,” and “The Soul’s Hunger for God.” At. St. John’s Methodist Church, Ponsonby Road, the Rev. George Frost, will preach in the morning on “The Ministry of Angels.” At the evening service he will give an address on •Methodist Priests.” The soloist will be Mrs. S. Nicholls. # * * Canon Grant Cowen will conduct the morning service at the Cathedral, Parnell, and Canon Fancourt the evening service. At the morning service in St. Matthew’s, Canon Fancourt will speak on “Courage.” In the evening Canon Grant Cowen will preach. The Rev. W. Lawson Marsh will conduct both services at St. Paul’s, Devonport. “How to Possess the Key of Patience” will be the Rev. W. Gilmour’s subject at the morning service of the Balmoral Presbyterian Church. Divine services "will be held at 11a.m. and 7 p.m. at the Somervell Memorial Church, Hemuera. * c A Sunday school festival will be held at the Mount Eden Congregational Church. In the evening the Rev. W. Roberts will preach on “Youth and the Present-day Situation.” Mr. T. Olds will preach at the Methodist Central Mission service, Airedale Street.
