The following example will explain more clearly how you can purchase a “ Special ” for 6d. If you bought, say 10/- worth of Hardware, 25/- worth of Drapery, 5/- worth of Mercery, you would then qualify to purchase for 6d any one of the articles listed on this page headed (( With a £2 Order.” Or you might purchase the whole of the £2 worth of goods in one department .... This applies also to 10/-, £l, £3, and larger purchases, which may be made in one department or spread over several. NOTE.—Buyers of Furniture, Carpets, Sewing Machines, Cycles, Phonographs, Radio Sets, etc., on Time Payment, also have the privilege of purchasing any one of these Special Items for 6d each. I d.
