INCREASED PETROL-TAX
NOT YET CONSIDERED BY GOVERNMENT STATEMENT BY MR. FORBES Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Today. “The Government has not considered the question of increasing the petrol-tax, but motorists will be given an opportunity of placing their views before us if they wish to do so,” said the Prime Minister, the Hon. G. W. Forbes, this morning. It should not be taken for granted that there would be increase in petroltax, he added.
