Archdeacon G. Mac Murray, vicarceneral of the Diocese of Auckland, left for Wellington last evening. Mr. M. H. Wynyard, chairman of the Auckland Harbour Board, returned to Auckland by the Limited express today. Mr. P- N. Jeffreys, who is in charge of the trans-Pacific department of the Union Steam Ship Company, was a passenger for San Francisco on the Tahiti. Mr. J. Watanabe. representative of the Osaka Shosen Kaisha, a Japanese shipping firm, is staying at the Grand Hotel. He returned yesterday from a visit to Rotorua, and leaves by the Maunganui today for Sydney. The Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates, Leader of the Opposition, left by car for Taranaki yesterday morning.
