The Governor-General, Herd Bledisw» and Lady Bledisloe, concluded their Sait to Palmerston North yesterday with an inspection of the Boys’ Flocjk House. Their Excellencies returned to Wellington at mid-day.—l .A. Mr. A. E. Ford, manager of the Auckland Transport Board, returned to Auckland by the express today. Mr. J. A. C. Allura, chairman of the Auckland Transport Board, returned from Wellington this, morning. The Hon. J. B. Bona Id, PostmasterGeneral. was n. passenger to Auckland by the Limited express this morning. Archdeacon G. Mac Murray, vicarceneral of the Diocese of Auckland, left for Wellington last evening. Mr. M. H. Wynyard, chairman of the Auckland Harbour Board, returned to Auckland by the Limited express today. Mr. P- N. Jeffreys, who is in charge of the trans-Pacific department of the Union Steam Ship Company, was a passenger for San Francisco on the Tahiti. Mr. J. Watanabe. representative of the Osaka Shosen Kaisha, a Japanese shipping firm, is staying at the Grand Hotel. He returned yesterday from a visit to Rotorua, and leaves by the Maunganui today for Sydney. The Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates, Leader of the Opposition, left by car for Taranaki yesterday morning.
