DANCE FOR SOCIETY'S FUNDS MANY ATTEND A most successful dance was held in the Symondsville Studio on Wednesday evening by the Society for the Protection of Women and Children in aid of the society’s funds. During the evening a brief speech was made by Mr. A. J. Stratford, president of the society, thanking Mrs. and Miss Spencer for giving the studio for the evening and carrying out all the arrangements. He also thanked Mr. J. Rowe and his orchestra, who gave their services and said how greatly the society appreciated the help which had been given it in this way. The studio was artistically decorated with flowers, foliage and shaded lantern lights.
