CHEEKY HAWKER
TRIED TO KISS CUSTOMER £lO FINE IMPOSED Press Association WELLINGTON, Today. Alan Fabian Duerr was convicted by Mr. E. Page, S.M., and fined £lO today on a charge of assaulting Ivy Irene Campbell, a married woman. Mrs. Campbell said that accused, uninvited, entered her house after a short conversation at the door and after displaying his wares attempted to kiss her. Default was fixed at one month. Duerr was also convicted and ordered to pay costs on a charge of carrying on a business as an unlicensed hawker.
