OLD MAN RESCUES SIX FROM THE DEBRIS TRAGEDY IN MINE United I'.A..—By Telegraph Copyright Reed. 12.15 p.m. MOSCOW, Thurs. Thirty-five persons were killed and 20 injured in a gas explosion at the Maria mine, in the Donetz Basin. A courageous old man saved six from the debris. Two officials were arrested and the catastrophe is being investigated.
