TALK OF RETALIATION BY NEW ZEALAND MR. D. JONES IN U.S.A. Reed. 9.30 a.m. NEW YORK. Wed. “It is not a tariff. It is an embargo,” says Mr. David Jones, chairman of the New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board, in speaking of the Tariff Bill. He says friendly business relations betxveen U.S.A. and New Zealand will cease, and that New Zealand is likely to revise her tariff for retaliation. After a tour of the United States, Mr. Jones will sail for Auckland from Vancouver on June 26.
