BENEFIT PICTURE PROGRAMME FOR SCHOOL COCOA FUND

Following the custom for some years past, the children attending the two schools controlled by the Takapuna School Committee will be supplied with hot cocoa during the winter months.

Last evening the Palladium Theatre, Takapuna, was well filled with picture patrons, when a benefit programme was given for the cocoa fund. It was announced that the net proceeds would amount to a little over £-13. The chairman of the committee, the Rev. J. Hiddlestone, especially thanked Mr. G. P. Reston, the lessee of the theatre, whose generosity had made this gratifying result possible.
