CAR DIVES OVER BANK
PASSENGER BADLY HURT ACCIDENT NEAR GISBORNE Press Association GISBORNE, Wednesday. A motor-car plunged over a 70ft bank at Whatatutu, 30 miles from. Gisborne, this evening, and three men who were travelling in it were admitted to the Cook Hospital. * One of the men. a passenger, Mr. .lames Brown, is in a serious condition. The other two occupants, Mr. Trevor < 'harles Tong, the driver, and Air. Frank Chadwick, suffered minor injuries. The three men had been canvassing the district with cutlery.
