The theatre is at present being completely renovated and equipped with the latest Western Electric apparatus. As a stage play “Her Unborn Child” has thrilled millions of playgoers for the past ten years, including its run of one year at the Eltinge and FortyEighth Street Theatres in New York City. Originally written by Howard McKent Barnes, the dialogue version for picture audiences has been prepared by Frederic and Fanny Hatton, and directed by A 1 Ray, responsible for several successful Fox Films. The talkie of the famous stage play presents a cast of unusual merit, recruited in the main from the ranks of Broadway stars, among them being Adele Ronson. Harry Davenport, Frances Underwood, Pauline Drake, Elisha Cook, junr., Doris Rankin, of the famous Barrymore family, Elizabeth Wragge, Paul Clare and others equally well known. The theatre management anticipates a record breaking attendance during the run of “Her Unborn Child.”
