MOTOR-CYCLIST INJURED
COLLISION WITH MOTOR-CAR Serious head injuries were suffered by .Mr. Basil Oliver, aged 25, of °37 Mount Eden Road, in a collision between his motor-cycle and a motor-car at the intersection of Great North Road and Kirk Street, Arch Hill, at about 11.30 last evening. After attention by Dr. L. G. Drury, in a nearby shop, ho was taken to hospital. The car was proceeding toward the terminus along Great Korth Road and the motor-cyclist was going in’ the opposite direction, and was about to enter Kirk Street. The impact between the two vehicles was severe, and the rider of the _ cycle was thrown heavily, his machine being practically wrecked. The near-side rear wheel of the car was wrenched off. Mr. Oliver’s condition this morning was reported to be fairly serious.
