SHIPPING CO’S. INCREASE FREIGHTS POSITION AT GISBORNE Press Association GISBORNE, Today. In consequence of the Harbour Boards decision to levy a harbour improvement rate and other increased charges against coastal vessels using the inner harbour, the shipping companies operating on the East Coast state that they are compelled to advance immediately all freights by 2a 6d a ton.
