GREAT PETER’S TROUBLE

THE Mark Memorial favourite. Great Peter, is causing trainer J. T. Paul some concern, as he it showing a recurrence of the trouble which kept him out of the Otahuhu Cup. Interviewed by “Abaydos,” the Mangere trainer said, “While it is not at present very serious, the trouble is causing restriction in the pacer’s preparation, a serious factor, when he is pitted against such good oewipany.” It is probable that any further interruption during the week or a continuation of bad weather, making the track heavy on Saturday, will see Great Peter absent from the field.
