PEDESTRIANS INJURED
KNOCKED DOWN BY CARS When he was knocked down by a motor-car at the top of Symonds Street at about 8 o’clock last evening, Mr. A. Cooper, a married man, aged 71, of Fairholme Avenue, Mount Roskill, received a fracture of one ankle. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital by the ambulance. He also suffered from shock. George Cammell, aged three, suffered a fractured thigh through being knocked down by a motor-car in front of his home at 46 Onslow Road, Mount Eden, yesterday afternoon. He was conveyed to the Auckland Hospital. His condition is not serious.
