The son of Polydamon has not done much racing this season, but he showed at Wanganui that he was not far from his best, for lie finished second in both the Century and May Hurdles at that fixture. Pie has only to keep sound to win a good hurdle race during the winter. It is reported from Hawke's Bay that J. M. Cameron’s next team for Sydney may include Glasslough. He is a three-year-old by Lord Quex from Rosamond and he is reported to be developing into a useful sort. M. Thomas has leased Tawhairoa to Mr. C. A. Bull. He is a rising four-year-old gelding by Our King from a mare by Lupin, the being an English-bred stallion by Peter Flower—Lunette, and was one of the sires imported by the Government 2SJ years ago. One of Lupin’s sons. Master Lupin, won the Great Northern Steeplechase in 1919 for Mr. J. Bull. Included in the entries for the Indies Braclet at the Egraont-Wa-nganui Hunt meeting is the aged gelding Coma, by Hay Comet from The Boyne, who is under J. Fryer’s care at Hawera. Although related to those good performers Rewi Poto, Prince Bufus and Paraoa, Coma has not been a success on the turf.
