MURDERED FOR MONEY
OLD MAN KILLED IN HIS SHOP AT MELBOURNE SUSPECT ARRESTED MELBOURNE, Sunday. A week ago, John Taylor, aged 65. was murdered inside his small grocery shop in Kerr Street, Fitzroy. Robbery is believed to have been the motive, as it is understood that he possessed considerable wealth. The police have now arrested Arthur Skerrett, aged 4S, who was remanded on a charge of murder.
