Dancing at Dixieland

Bright Evening at Ca haret-hy-the-Sea Dancing at Dixieland was most en- : joyable on Saturday evening, and a large number of dancers spent a very, pleasant time at tlie popular cabaret. Mr. Harry N'eilson and the Dixieland Band were at the top of their form, and dispensed all the new j numbers in great style. Early spring flowers were arranged ! on the tables in the cubicles, and shrubs and palms lined tile walls of ! the entrance hall. AMONG THE DANCERS The Countess of Orford wore a bouffant gown of ivory flowered taffeta inset with lace and relieved with brilliants. Mrs. Oakes had on a slim-fitting frock of conifer green ring velvet with hem of grey fur. Mrs. Edgar Bartleet was in rose and gold grosgrain taffeta, with gracefully dipping hemline. Mrs. Miles was wearing a frock of deep cream lace and georgette, with flounced skirt. Mrs. D. Thompson had chosen a foi'get- ; me-not blue french organdi frock with j frills of lace. Mrs. J. K. Jameson’s gown was of i black georgette and Chantilly lace. Mrs. Ernest Alison had on absinthe ; green faille, with deep yoke of green net. j Mrs. Whitcombe was wearing a bouf- j fant frock of wistaria blue taffeta. Mrs. Nichols had chosen honey-coloured j lace and georgette. Mrs. C. Ackroyd wore a smart gown of cuban orange ta(Xeta Mrs A. G.
