George Jessel. the star, appears as a young Italian In New York, who leaves his fiancee and friends to return to Italy to see his father. While he was there, Italy entered the war. young Luigi was called up. wounded, and spent years in an Austrian prison camp. When he could return to New York he found his fiancee, believing him dead, had married, and his friends all scattered. Lila Lee and David Rollins are also in the cast in this fine talkie.
