Stedmar. left Christchurch in a new Moth at 9.45 a.m. yesterday and arrived a f Rongotai airdrome at 11.40 a.m. A following wind helped to make the trip an unusually fast one as it usually takes three and a-half hours. Mr. L. S. Drake, chief traffic inspector of the Wellington City Council was passenger.
