DROP IN TRADE
EXPORTS IN ENGLAND DROP £16,000,000 BOARD OF TRADE RETURNS Reed. 12.5 p.m. LONDON, Friday. The Board of Trade return shows that imports decreased by £12,385 000 exports by £16,424,000 and re-exports by £1,395,000. The principal decreases were imports of grain and flour (£1,461,000), non-dutiable food and drink (£1,681,000), raw cotton (£1,907,000) raw wool (£2,874,000), exports of iron and steel manufactures (£1,772,000). machinery (£1,057,000), cotton yarns manufactures (£4,481,000), and woollen yarns manufactures (£1,763,000).
