CYCLIST IN COLLISION

MAN INJURED AT FACTORY A cycle and a motor-car travelling in the same direction on the Great South Road between Westfield and Otahiihu collided at about 6.15 p.m. yesterday. The cycle was extensively damaged, but the rider, Mr. A. YV. Carter, of Otahuhu, escaped injury. Several fractured ribs and injuries to one thigh, were the injuries received by Mr. Robert McCamish, of Rose Road, Ponsonby. when he fell from a staging on to some stationary machinery at the factory of Stonex Brothers, Edinburgh Street, Newton, yesterday afternoon. Ho was taken to hospito.l and his condition was reported this morning to be quite satisfactory.
