MAID IN PALEST ROSE ATTENDS OTAHUHU BRIDE
EDWARDS—BRADBURY On Wednesday afternoon a pretty wedding was celebrated at St. Andrew’s Church, Otahuliu, by the Rev. A. AI. Elliffe. when Flora, the second daughter of Air. A. Bradbury, of Papatoetoe, was married to Alauricc William, elder son of Air. and Airs. E. AY. Edwards, of Alareretu. North Auckland. The bride was given away by her father, and wore a dainty gown of ivory georgette, the full skirt was arranged to fall in points dipping to the ankles, and the corsage was prettily embroidered in silver thread. Her tulle veil was worn cap fashion, clasped with sprays of orange blossom on each ear, and finished with a bow of silver ribbon. A. shower bouquet of sweet peas and chrysanthemums, and fine maidenhair fern was carried. Aliss Freda AVorthington was bridesmaid, wearing a taffeta frock in shades of pale rose, the skirt being finished with a deep hem of georgette. Her tulle headdress was arranged on a band of silver, with circlets of tiny rosebuds, and she carried a bouquet to tone. Air. AT. R. Llnkhorn acted as best man, and Aliss E. Aloffat presided at the organ. A reception was held at Gardiner’s Tea Rooms, Otahuliu, the tables being prettily decorated with soft foliage and iceland poppies. Airs. Knapping, sister of the bride, acted as hostess, and wore an ensemble of navy face cloth and small felt hat. The bride’s going-away frock was of navy wool crepe de chine, worn under a fur-trimmed coat, with small navy liat relieved with fawn.
