SHOWER BOUQUET OF ROSES AND CHRYSANTHEMUMS
PUKEKOHE BRIDE ATTENDED BY MAIDS IN GREEN GEAR—REYNOLDS The wedding was celebrated at St. James’s Presbyterian Church, Pukekohe, recently, of Gladys Alay, eldest da.lighter of Mr. and Airs. R. Reynolds, Patumahoe, to Randolf, youngest son of the late Air. and Airs. Gear. The Rev. J. Pattison Officiated. Given away by her father, the bride wore a frock of ivory georgette over satin, with a silver lace yoke and flared tiers. She wore a tulle veil embroidered in silver and carried a shower bouquet of roses, chrysanthemums and maidenhair fern. The bridesmaids were Aliss Alay McCracken, a cousin of the bride, and Aliss Phyllis Gear, a niece of the bridegroom. They were dressed alike in frocks of nile green georgette, with tiered flared skirts and apricot hats, and they carried bouquets to tone. The flower-girls, Alisses Mavis Reynolds and Valda Gear, each wore a frock of mauve georgette and carried baskets of viplets.
Air. F. Caley was best man and Air. K. Reynolds groomsman.
The reception was held at the residence of the bride’s grandparents, Air. and Airs. J. J. Hart, Pukekohe. The bride’s mother wore a navy bengaline frock with a hat to tone.
