BOY AND GIRL LOVE SUPPLIES THEME FOR JOHN McCORMACK’S FILM

“Song o’ My Heart” is the title of John McCormack’s first picture, in which the singer appears as a successful concert singer who has risen to heights only after surmounting many obstacles in his path.

A boy and girl love, inspired by the guidance of McCormack as the older man, is the theme of the story. Many of the scenes of the picture were filmed in Ireland, and are said to be of great scenic beauty. A number of songs by McCormack are woven into the plot, several of them having been written specially for this production. Maureen O'Sullivan, discovered in Ireland while the company was filming there, plays the leading feminine role of Eileen.
