Racing Club’s Annual Ball
Successful Function at Ngai~uawahia MANY VISITORS ATTEND Visitors from all the surrounding districts motored to Ngaruawahia on Thursday evening for the Ngaruawahia (facing Club's annual ball. This function, one of the biggest soc al events of the year in the otstrict, is eagerly looked forward to, and this year proved more successful than ever. President Sutherland, assisted by tne secretary and stewards of the club, was responsible for the exceptional arrangements and the complete enjoyment of the guests. Mrs. Sutherland, as hostess, received the guests gowned in pointaettia red trtin beaute and georgette, with gracefully dipping hemline. She was assisted by Mrs. Id.
