MUNICIPAL BAND
CONCERT IN TOWN HALL TONIGHT
The programme to be given by the Municipal Band in the Town Hall this evening will be devoted entirely to operatic works. The vocalists —Messrs. R. Evans and lan Devereaux—will sing concerted and solo items from "La Forza del Destino,” “I .'tgliacci,” “Faust,” and “La. Bohemv/ The band will play "Tannhauser” march, "Martha’' overture, selection from “I Pagliacci,” the “Anvil Chorus" from “II Trovatore,” “Reminiscences of Verdi,” and “The Desert Song." Mr. McLennan, flautist, will play “I Masnadieri” (Verdi), and Mr. Bowes, cornet, a melody from Bellini's “La Somnabula.” Miss Thelma Gordon will preside at the piano.
