One of the finest of the stirring tales of America’s early days has been made into one of the finest outdoor talkies yet brought to the screen. This is “The Virginian,” Owen Wister’s great novel, now at the West End Theatre, Ponsonby Road, as a talkie, with tlie popular actor, Gary Cooper, in the leading role.
