GAOL FOR FATHER
FAILURE TO MAINTAIN From our own Correspondent HAMILTON, Today. A sentence of two months was imposed on James Gibson, farm labourer, Newstead, in the Magistrate's Court today, for failure to maintain bis child. The maintenance officer said this was the sixth information laid against Gibson, who had previously been imprisoned fur a similar offence.
