Each of the foregoing Rates to be upon the UNIMPROVED VALUE of all Rateable Property within the Borough of Mount Albert. 31. —A Uniform SANITATION FEE in connection with the removal of house and shop refuse only, at the rate of Seven Shillings and Sixpence upon each and every shop or dwelling within the Borough of Alount Albert.
Each of the foregoing Rates, together with the Sanitation Fee for Refuse Removal, to be for the year commenced April 1, 1930, and ending on the 31st Day of March, 1931. Morningside, June 11, 1930. jgOROUGIi OF NEWMARKET. TI-IE LOCAL BODIES LOANS ACT, 1926. PROPOSED LOAN OF £4,500 FOR STREET IMPROVEMENTS. The Newmarket Borough Council hereby gives notice, in pursuance of the provisions of Section 10 of the abovementioned Act:— (1) That the purposes for which the Loan is required are:— (a) The acquisition of Lots 20, 21, and 22 of Section 1, and Portion of Lot 23 of Section 5, Station Street and Crowhurst Street; (b) The formation and construction in concrete of new roadway linking Crowhurst Street direct with Gillies Avenue; (c) Engineering and contingencies. (2) That the Newmarket Borough Council. being unable to provide the necessary funds out of ordinary revenue, proposes to borrow a sum not exceeding £4,500. (3) That the proposed security' for the said Loan shall be a Special Rate of one penny (Id) in the £ on the annual value of all the rateable property in the Borough of Newmarket. (4) That the Newmarket Borough Council proposes to make such loan repayable within a period of thirty (30) years, and to make provision for a sinking fund of not. less than one and one-half (1£) per cent, per annum. (5) That the Newmarket Borough Council proposes to pay out of such loan such costs, charges, and expenses as the Newmarket Borough Council may determine to have been actually incurred in connection with such loan, but not the interest and sinking fund thereon for the first year.
