MR. MATHEW MUIR The death occurred this morning: of Mr. Matthew W. Muir, aged 53, licensee and owner of the Te Awarautu Hotel. His wife died three yeirs Lgro. H* leaves one daughter. Miss Dorothy Muir. MR. G. B. JONES The death has occurred at his home in Lawrence Street. Mount Eden, of Mr. George Boddingrton Jones, at the age of 84. After living: in London. Mr. Jones married and came to New Zealand in 1879, and except fgjt two years at Kaipara Flats, had lived in Auckland since his arrival. He Is survived by his wife. MRS. J. MURRAY
Mrs. John Murray, widow of the late Mr. John Murray, general mat - nger of the Bank of New Zealand, died f.t Montreux. Switzerland, on April 23, at the age of 86. Born in Glasgow, Mrs. Murray came to New Zealand. ar4 after living at Remuera for mariv-yc-ars moved to Sydney and then ti> London. Mrs. M urray is survived b\ttno sons and three daughters, none of whom resides in New Zealand.
