WAITEMATA GUN CLUB
I SHOOTING AREA SECURED To stimulate interest in the recentlyformed Waitemata Gun and Rod Club, Mr. C. H. Drysdale has presented a handsome silver cup for annual competition in the clay-bird shooting season. The club already lias an active membership of 50 and the committee has secured a shooting area at Barry's Point, Takapuna, subject to the consent of the Harbour Board, but no difficulty is anticipated in securing the permit. It is expected that the first practice shoot will be held in about three weeks’ time. i —'
