Volumes have been written on this subject, but here it is boiled down and ready for the contestant in The Sun’s great prize competition to incorporate in his plan for winning the coveted prize. The successful contestant will know what prize he wants and he will set as his goal a certain number of votes or subscriptions, which he feels sure will be more than enough to win the coveted prize. His work will be well planned, so that he may exhaust every source of securing votes and subscriptions with the minimum of time expended. He will analyse his friends and know exactly how to approach each one, and what argument to put forth in order to secure his subscription. He will reach these friends in the shortest space of time possible. He will always keep working toward the one end —the honour of being named the most popular person in his community, which carries with it the pleasure of winning a successful prize. He will complete one bonus and begin immediately to secure enough subscriptions to receive another bonus. He will not be discouraged when a friend says “No,” but will go looking for another friend who will say “Yes.” Once started, he will keep going—keep going so strongly that.there will be no stopping him until he has achieved success. GREAT BONUS OFFER But a little over a week remains for the contestants to take advantage ot the great bonus offer, which gives 500.000 extra votes for each total of £lO in subscription money turned in by contestants before June 21. This is positively the greatest bonus offer given during the competition. A contestant should put forth his utmost effort now, exhaust and expend every opportunity for subscriptions possible in order that he may secure a total of £lO, and thereby the half-million extra votes before June 21. Once a contestant has secured one bonus he should immediately begin putting torth his utmost to get another £lO and get another bonus, and so it goes:. Contestants who do not understand about the long term subscriptions and the advantage of getting them in now, during this period, should immediately get iu touch with a representative of the Campaign Department, in order that this detail may be explained. COUNTRY CONTESTANTS

Contestants living in the country towns will have the same opportunity for sending in subscriptions right up until the last minute, as those living in Auckland. All subscription money which is posted and which bears the post-mark showing that it was posted in a post office on or before June 21 will be accepted as though it were turned in to the Campaign Department on June 21, even though it is not received until the day following. A careful record of all envelopes bearing subscriptions received after June 21 will be kept by the Campaign Manager and where the money was posted, bearing the post-mark of June 21, it will be counted on the 500,000 bonus offer. PRIZE TOUR One of the contestants in The Sun’s Great Prize Campaign writes in:—“l am thinking of getting married, and I want to win The Sun’s prize tour for my honeymoon. Just imagine a

visit to Rotorua with my newly-

married wife —then the Chateau, with its evenings of delight, and Wanganui! Then oil to the South Island to spend a holiday at the Hermitage, Mount Cook. Winter sports will be in full swing—friendly gatherings of interesting people from all parts of the world. A visit to the Southern lakes, Queenstown the Beautiful. Does this not stir your imagination? It does mine. We want to plan our wedding just after the close of the competition. Send round a bundle of receipt books, because we’re going to win this trip if we can.”

Pretty little Noeline Pearce is one of Whangarei’s favourites. Noeline has a lot of friends in Wliangarei, and they are casting many votes for her. She has lots of friends who are helping her in this campaign. Whether she will be successful or not in winning the prize she most covets depends upon the support her friends give in the competition.
