The Arbitration Court in Christchurch today granted a claim for £I,OOO damages made by Lena Frances Higgins against the Riccarton Borough Council for the death of her husband, William Lawrence Higgins, a linesman. who collapsed after work, death being due to strain and influenza. — (P.A.)
