INNINGS IN HAND
AUSTRALIA’S EASY WIN AT CAMBRIDGE UNIVERSITY OUTCLASSED Reed. 9.50 a.m. LONDON, Tuesday. Tlie Australians registered their fourth successive win by easily outclassing Cambridge University. McCabe and Bradman again secured the most wickets, though Hurwood bowled finely, taking two wickets for 20 off ten overs. Play was delayed 40 minutes in the morning by rain. Ivillick continued to bat soundly, but with his dismissal with the score at 99, seven wickets were down and a debacle seemed certain. The tail-enders, however, offered unexpected resistance. Human hit vigorously, driving Bradman for three successive fours and, with Brown, scored £5 in an hour. When Human left, Webster and Brown continued to hammer the bowling, the latter reaching a fine 50 in 80 minutes. He was eventually dismissed in the slips after a fearless display.
